Adios alpacas

I think that the alpacas have to go. It’s been a difficult decision to make but they’ve spat at me a couple of times and, more importantly, they’re occupying space that we require for edible animals like sheep and pigs. So it’s with a heavy heart that I embark upon the process of finding them a good forever home before re-stocking our paddocks.

We farm a three acre smallholding in Hampshire, England, having fled London in pursuit of the good life for our little family. We mess about with an assorted menagerie and try to be as self-sufficient as possible in meat and fruit and vegetables whilst enjoying our plot and an outdoors lifestyle with our son. I am the luckiest person that I know.
